MFA Thesis Creative Product
The story this generation tells is complex. Dimensions of identity, value, and discovery are woven into each voice. Framing the thoughts and challenges of today’s college-aged young adults, Jonathan Kinsey’s MFA Thesis Film utilizes Transmedia Storytelling to blend choreography with documentary filmmaking techniques in an intimate expression of Five young adults. Each character unfolds at the intersection of their dialectic perspective and embodied inner thoughts. Together, their dance and voices construct a time-capsule capturing what it means to be young in 2018.
