Evidence of Professional Competency in Scholarship

Overview

In 2022, The Texas State University System (TSUS) reported significant growth in online education, with one-third of its students studying exclusively online. I've collaborated with several colleagues over the past seven years to co-write and design the annual online education report published by TSUS. In the 2022 report, my contributions included researching and writing about TSUS's use of alternative credentialing and instructional design technologies to meet workforce demands through strategic partnerships. A key initiative mentioned in the report includes a partnerships with LinkedIn Learning, Google Certificates, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), aimed at providing flexible, job-ready skills training and professional development to support both traditional and non-traditional students.
