LinkedIn Learning Providing Learning Opportunities to SHSU Community

Evidence of Professional Competency in Service

Overview

As a service to the SHSU Community and the Texas Gulf Coast economic development region, my team and I created LinkedIn Learning-based online learning experiences that anyone can register for and benefit from at no cost. This newsletter article service artifact depicts the onset of the initiative when LinkedIn Learning was launched to the SHSU community, offering over 14,000 skills-based courses in business, creative, and technology to support academic and career readiness. The platform has been widely adopted for professional development and state training requirements, with significant engagement from the SHSU community, making it a valuable free online learning resource.
